Cannons, dancing and delicacies…oh my! Take part in the Westport Historical Society’s full day of activities memorializing the burning of towns along the Connecticut coastduring the War for Independence. British troops burned Fairfield and the Green’s Farms Meeting House in Westport before moving on to Norwalk in July of 1779. Learn more about this event while enjoying games and hands-on demonstrations from the period.
