Learn more about the ins and outs of doing family research on your own, resources you’re familiar with along with lesser known avenues of discovery.
Our first part will explore the question—do you need to buy a genealogy service? Pros and cons of services and comparisons between Ancestry and other companies will be delved into—as well as introductions to free online resources for which you don’t need to use a paid service.
Bringing a laptop is highly recommended, but handouts of materials will be available in limited quantities.
$50 bundle for all four sessions, or $15 for individual sessions. Other dates in the series are November 13, 2019, January 8, 2020 and March 11, 2020
