July 2nd, 2020 until July 2nd, 2020
9:00 am - 10:00 am
Celebrate Independence Day and show town pride by learning more about the soldiers who served during the war for Independence. See the stones of men who fought during the Danbury Raid and the women who watched as the British burned their homes. Even as you hear the story of colonists fighting for their freedom you will also hear the stories of enslaved Africans who chose sides and fought for their voices to be heard.
Please park along Nyala Farms Road. We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring bottled water — the ground is uneven and the weather may be warm.
Per State of Connecticut mandates, social distancing practices will be in effect and masks are required unless the use of a mask or cloth face covering by anyone for whom doing so would be contrary to his or her health or safety because of a medical condition.
Pricing is $10 per person. Pre-registrations are required. Register online here. Tickets are nonrefundable. In the event you must cancel, we will consider your purchase a donation and will happily issue you a donation receipt.
