10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Join us at Westport Historical Society this Saturday, June 9th, from 10am-4pm for Connecticut Open House Day: a statewide unified celebration of our state’s fascinating world of history, art and tourism!
As part of this day-long celebration WHS will offer free admission for all to the museum including our critically acclaimed exhibit REMEMBERED: THE HISTORY OF AFRICAN AMERICANS IN WESTPORT and RIGHTS FOR ALL? THE CONNECTICUT CONSTITUTION OF 1818 and will have a selection of historical lawn games, including ping pong, corn hole and croquet, in OUR GARDEN for all to enjoy!
Between rounds of game play, pop in to the museum for a cold drink and a snack that you can enjoy out on the brickwalk at one of our new bistro tables!
And last but not least, while you are at WHS, don’t forget to buy your tickets for the 27th Annual Hidden Garden Tour (Sunday, June 10th, Garden Market 9am, Tour 11am) and/or tickets for the film screening of Gina’s Journey: The Search for William Grimes, Sunday, June 10th, 6pm at Westport Country Playhouse.
