Another Screening! The High School That Rocked Documentary: Sold Out

August 26th, 2017

5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Sold Out:   ENCORE PERFORMANCE of The High School That Rocked!

The people spoke- Westport Cinema Initiative is delivering! After a sell-out/standing-room-only/had-to-turn-some-away crowd on July 15th, a second screening of The High School That Rocked Documentary is scheduled for Saturday, August 26 at 5pm at Westport Historical Society, 25 Avery Place, across from Town Hall.  The documentary takes a look at Staples HS who somehow managed to lure a slew of classic-rock legends — including Cream, the Doors and the Yardbirds, among others to perform at the high school. The screening will be followed by a talkback with the film’s producer Fred Cantor and local filmmaker, Douglas Tirola.

This is a joint effort, benefitting both Westport Cinema Initiative and Westport Historical Society.  Tickets available now for $10 online only at and includes free popcorn! Seating is limited.
