An evening of dialogue, music, poetry and storytelling featuring the timeless poesty of the Sufi mystic Mvlana Jelaluddin Rumi.

Join Dr. Ron Friedman and Victoria Friedman, co-founders of Vistar, a non-profit organization dedicated to Collective consciousness.  The evening will feature Voicepoint Ensemble with excerpts from their United Nations performance of Rumi: Heart of Unity. Come together  in dialogue through the Vistar Method of Communication, a process that enhances mutual understanding and a sense of community.  Experience this inspirational and transformative presentation of Rumi’s message of Unity and Love. 

Rumi is one of the most revered mystical poets and widely read today, He was born 800 years ago in what is now Afghanistan, amid social and political turbulence. At 24 years of age, he was an accomplished scholar in religious sciences; in 1224 he met a wandering dervish, shams of Tabriz in a meeting that transformed him and would affect the world.  His message and appeal reaches across religious, national and social divisions.
