Saturday, November 12, 10-5
Sunday, November 13, 11-4
Come enjoy some refreshments, soak up the history of Westport and see what your creative neighbors are up to. The show will feature jewelry, crafts, bags, scarves, great gifts and more by a group of talented local artisans.
The Westport Historical Society will host its fifth annual Fall Craft Show on Saturday November 12th and Sunday November 13th at the Westport Historical Society at 25 Avery Place, Westport CT. This intimate show, which takes place throughout the downstairs rooms of the building, features artisans from in and around Westport. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Historical Society.
Show organizer Lisa Shufro says, “Once again, we have been lucky enough to assemble an eclectic group of local artisans for a one-of-a-kind show. The new and returning vendors will offer an interesting and affordable variety of crafts. We look forward to seeing our many returning customers as well as first time shoppers.”
This show offers a wonderful opportunity to shop from area artisans while visiting and supporting the Historical Society. This year there will be several returning craftspeople as well as some new faces. Crafts such as jewelry, ceramics, rugs, handmade soaps and clothing will be available.
Returning craftspeople include Claire Campbell, Yulia Coggin, Linda Di Meglio, Linda Dohanos, LadySyll Fleurimonde, Stemmi GoldbergAmi Nyitray, Lu Oliveira, Amy Schneider, Lisa Shufro and Alan Winick. This year they will be joined by Clare Lewis, a ceramic artist, Jay Tudor, who will be selling his silk-screened t-shirts, Jill Scholsohn of Riverstone Jewelry and Condie Ward and Susan Taylor of Rugamarole, who create colorful rugs and blankets from repurposed clothing.
The Fall Craft Show will be open on Saturday from 10:00 – 5:00 and on Sunday from 11:00 – 4:00. There is no admission fee. For additional information contact Lisa Shufro at (203) 221-1350 or the Westport Historical Society at (203)222-1424.
