Saturday with the Society

The first and third Saturday morning of every month families gather for activities related to Westport’s history. Embroidery, iSpy, and candle making all await at the Society.

Families and children of every age are welcome; however, children age 5 and under must be accompained by an adult.

Call (203) 222-1424 or email ncarpenter@westporthistory.org for more information and to register.

Families will spend Saturday morning , February 4th, at WHS with the Embroiders Guild of America Fairfield Chapter crafting a beautiful handmade sampler just as they would have in the nineteenth century. Make a delicious treat – cherry granola bars – to nibble on after our craft.

On Saturday, February 18th, families will join WHS in celebrating their favorite literary characters by writing a short story about meeting their heroes. Creating a one of a kind button canvas artwork of their character will be followed by making a delectable snack.
