9am: Yoga warm-up and light refreshments
10:00am – 11:00am: Kayak/Paddle Board tour on the river
11:15 – 11:30am: Post-tour yoga stretch

We’ll start off the morning beside the river with homemade muffins and yoga warm-up stretches with Certified Yoga Teacher and Director of the Westport Historical Society, Susan Gold.

Resident town historian, Allen Raymond will deliver a brief historical introduction to the history of the Saugatuck River before we paddle down the beautiful Saugatuck River, exploring its secret shoreline and estuaries. Birds such as osprey, peregrine falcons, egrets, and blue herons, can be seen fishing right alongside as you paddle. As part of the tour, a resident environmental expert will be joining us to further explore and inform our knowledge of the river as we paddle.
Cost of the tour includes kayak rental, light refreshments, warm-up and post-paddle exercises, and a guided river tour.
