We are pleased to co-host our 8th annual Holiday Concert with Mary Ann Hall’s MUSIC FOR CHILDREN and YOUTH (MFC&Y). This holiday concert by Mary Ann, Emily and Bill Hall and MFC&Y music teachers Rita Caruso, Heather Fairfield and Amory Merriman features the season’s favorite traditional melodies. Experience the joys of singing, playing and dancing all together with performances, also, by students Lily Weidhaas, Lucie Sullivan and Ashley Catalano.
Lily, Lucie and Ashley attend KALEIDOSCOPE THEATER a comprehensive music theater program of MFC&Y and will sing a selection from their upcoming performance of GODSPELL.
The collaboration with this astounding musical program has been mutually beneficial. Susan Gold, the Executive Director of the Westport Historical Society comments, “It is our goal to bring our current exhibit alive with music and song and there is no better way to accomplish this but with a performance by Mary Ann Hall’s MUSIC FOR CHILDREN &YOUTH. Their talented staff and students magically transform the gallery into a performance hall and the interaction between the musicians and the audience is a spectacular experience. It always brings with it good feelings and wonderful memories.”
