TAKE A STAND!
The Westport Historical Society invites children from Kindergarten through Fifth grade to share an abundance of fun-filled activities on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will have the opportunity to explore the theme “Take a Stand” through a variety of unique crafts, including making signs and “dream” pillows on which each youngster will be able to express his own passion and beliefs. Children will also be able to participate in Readers’ Theater and improvisational drama games before making his own delicious snacks. Snack and supplies are provided and participants should bring their own bag lunch. Space is limited, register in advance by calling 203-222-1424.
