A Town's Treasures: Spaces and Places, Seen and Unseen

Photo Exhibit by Tom Krestch

May 26 – September 1, 2008

In the intimate space of the Little Gallery is an exhibit of photographs with the entitled theme A Town’s Treasures: Spaces and Places, Seen and Unseen. In this show, Tom Krestch has captured some of the simple beauty of Westport in both familiar and unfamiliar places. From the views of mill pond taken in his kayak to the glow of a early morning winter sky at Compo Beach, Tom has captured the magic that lives within the confines of this beautiful community of Westport. A thirty-four year resident, Tom has spent much time wandering and waiting for the right sort of light to capture his visions of this fine town.

Most recently a photo essay of his about the Saugatuck River was published in Westport Magazine which will later be shown in an exhibit at the Westport Library. Tom is owner of the business Peaceful Places and exhibits his work in art shows throughout New England including the Westport Fine Arts Show in July.
