August 10th, 2015 until August 13th, 2015
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
For two sessions in August, children ages 5 – 12 can participate in exciting activities led by our Educational Director, Elizabeth DeVoll. Both programs are offered Monday through Thursday from 10am to 2pm.
On August 10 and continuing until August 13, the theme is archeology! Children will have fun and excitement digging around in the past. We will dig up all sorts of facts about our history! Participants will explore natural and timeless crafts and hobbies as well as meet a rock expert who will share his awesome collection. We’ll sculpt arrowheads, paint and design walking sticks, weave a basket, learn to play marbles and make a marble bag. Outdoor games and town walks are planned. The exciting finale will be a visit to Sherwood Island for a real dig. $190 for members/ $225 for non-members and a sibling discount is offered. Bring lunch, snack provided Pizza on Thursday.
