Family Gift Making Workshop for the Holidays

November 26th, 2014

All Day

The Westport Historical Society is pleased to offer its annual holiday gift making workshop with WHS Education Director Elizabeth Devolls on Saturday, December 13th from 10:45am – 12:45pm.  The best gifts are the ones home-made and we’ve got a great selection of gifts to make for people of all ages. These gifts include: retro snow globes, organic wreaths, vintage building blocks and cookie cutter ornaments among others.

“There is great joy in making something where you infuse your own creativity and love into the gift and then give it to someone you care about. It’s truly a gift that you can feel good about giving”, says Elizabeth. Spend the morning with us, stroll through the new exhibit Saugatuck @Work, visit the vintage rooms and see all the new great Westport signature items in the Remarkable Gift Shop. We’re happy to offer opportunities for our community to come together and engage in hands-on fun with others. Enjoy the pleasure of gift giving with something hand-made at a fee of $25 per person.

Space is limited so call 203-222-1424 to make a reservation.
